November, 13, 2016. Meeting starts at 10:00 a.m.,
at Fort Washington Fire Co No 1 (main station)
1245 Fort Washington Avenue, Fort Washington, Pa 19034.
Driving directions: If using G P S this address will get you there.
If using the Pennsylvania Turnpike, get off at the Fort Washington
exit (exit 339).
Take the first right after passing through the toll onto route 309 north
Take the first exit (Highland Avenue) & turn right at the end of the off
ramp onto Highland Avenue.
Turn left at the traffic light onto Fort Washington Avenue.
Fire house is less than 1 mile on your right side.
Plenty of parking in the lower lot (the driveway that is marked to enter)
There will be coffee & pastry prior to the meeting, and after the meeting,
lunch will be served at the home of member Nick Jennings which is only
a couple of blocks from the firehouse (a map will be provided at the end
of the meeting). Those that are interested are invited to view Nicks
collection which consists of fire fighting antiques collected over a 50 year
period (no apparatus).
If you need additional directions, please see the directions section on the
website. Refreshments will be served before the meeting and lunch after
the meeting. Members are welcome to bring along a guest, and newcomers
