Donald Ebert Gray became a member of the UHFS in 2006. Don was instrumental in helping Donn Zalewski of Donn & Associates in running past fire memorabilia auctions at the Allentown Spring Melt. His passion was his fire grenade collection. Don had an abundance of fire collecting friends for he truly never met a stranger.

Robert Craig “Junior” Glass Jr. was a Life member and past Treasurer of the UHFS. He followed in his father’s footsteps by stepping into the role of Treasurer. Craig’s dedication went above and beyond as he was passionate about the Society.

Thomas Hess, a Life member of the UHFS passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the Reading Hospital. Thomas was also a member of the Chester County Fireman's Association and Fire Chiefs Association, the PA Forest
Fire Museum Association and the Reading Area Firefighters Museum.
