To establish and maintain an organization to be operated for charitable, public, educational, scientific, historical, and fraternal purposes, including a development of an appreciation of fire apparatus, fire fighting equipment and memorabilia in the history of America.
To stimulate and cultivate interest in restoration, preservation and operation of historic fire fighting apparatus, historic fire fighting equipment and memorabilia associated with the fire service, to stimulate and cultivate interest in all matters pertaining to the history of the fire service, fire fighting and fire prevention, and to assist and cooperate with, and provide essential services for interested persons, and similar purposes, no part of net earnings of which may inure to benefit of any private shareholder or individual.
To perpetuate the spirit which form the earliest days had activated firefighters in the rendition of service of the highest type in the protection of life and property from fire.
To acquire, own or lease such real and personal property as may be necessary and proper for carrying out any or all of the foregoing purposes, and to enter into and execute such leases, contracts, agreements or other instruments as may be required in respect to such property.
The principal geographical region of operations for this organization shall be the Delaware Valley and Lehigh Valley, areas of southern Pennsylvania and part of New Jersey.
This organization may become associated with other organizations deemed appropriate by the Board of Directors, upon approval of the organization with which affiliation is sought, or from which an offer of affiliation is received.
This organization is affiliated with the Society for the Preservation and Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus in America ("SPAAMFAA") as a regional chapter, pursuant to the Constitution and Bylaws of said organization.
